Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Marine Biologist, based at a 5-star island resort. We are seeking a creative, motivated, out-going candidate with a passion for marine conservation and tropical marine ecosystems, with an interest in science communication, climate change, and coral restoration.

Brief Job Description

Marine Biologist / Project Management

  • Manage our coral propagation program (monitoring, maintenance, transplantation).
  • Conduct guest activities (guided snorkelling, dolphin-cruise) and marine life presentations.
  • Manage, train and supervise junior staff (assistant marine biologist, interns).

Ideal Candidate

  • BSc/MSc in Marine Biology/Environmental Science (or equivalent), with a good knowledge of corals.
  • Outgoing, creative, resourceful, and passionate about marine sciences and environmental conservation.
  • Strong swimmer & qualified diver (essential) able to work long hours in the lagoon in all weathers.
  • Good spoken & written English; multilingual preferred.
