Vacancy : Marine Aquaculture Specialist (closed)

Brief Job Outline

We are seeking a specialist in marine aquaculture to work alongside our Head of Fish Lab, based at the Marine Discovery Centre, Four Seasons Resort Landaa Giraavaru, Maldives.

The Role

• Lead day-to-day Fish Lab and RAS operations.
• Manage our programs, including sustainable foods (macroalgae), grouper rearing, jellyfish programs, live feed (zooplankton).
• Maintain efficient high standards, ensure optimal animal welfare, develop and document Fish Lab protocols.

The Ideal Candidate

• Relevant MSc (or BSc + 2 years experience), hands-on larval-rearing expertise, and a professional, guest-facing attitude.
• Essential: skilled at managing marine recirculating aquaculture systems, and scaling production life-cycles.
• Desirable: experience working on tropical islands; SCUBA, multi-lingual.
