NOAA Coral Reef Watch [current_ts_maldives 2026.04.02]
As expected, NOAA’s coral bleaching forecast for the Maldives is currently looking OK, despite the gradual rise of global ocean temperatures. Due to El Nino, ocean temperatures are expected to spike at the end of this year, affecting the Maldives region in 2027.
