The two islands are located on a same reef system south of the airport island of Kadedhdhoo.

A comprehensive survey of the island was carried out, to assess and mitigate the environmental consequences of the redevelopment.
An Environmental Impact Assessment Report was also produced.
Environmental Impact Assessments on resort development at Herethere, along with a channel dredging survey.
The island was proposed for the development of a 150 room resort, and Seamarc was commissioned to survey the island and produce a detailed EIA, along with proposed coastal management solutions.
Working with the dredging company Boskalis, on various projects from 2006 – 2010

Ongoing projects include our largest Reefscapers coral propagation programme, and management of the Marine Discovery Centre (with marine aquarium and fish laboratory, and extensive sea turtle rescue & rehabilitation facilities).
IT development project (national telecommunications) and Tsunami Emergency Assistance – sewerage solution for the island of Kulhudhufushi.

We are the current environmental auditors for Reethi Beach, and implemented coastal protection using geo-bags way back in the year 2000 – one of the first projects of its type in the Maldives.
