By proceeding with your payment, you confirm that you agree to these standard terms. (We’ll keep this as short as possible!)

Coral Frame Sponsorships

All coral frame sponsorships are non-refundable, as your generous donation is put to immediate effect – we start to harvest corals and make your coral frame.
You acknowledge that coral frames are living marine ecosystems subject to natural environmental conditions. While the majority of our corals thrive, survival cannot be guaranteed due to natural events (storms, temperature fluctuations, bleaching). Our team makes every reasonable effort to protect and monitor your sponsored frame, but we cannot provide refunds.

As a Coral Frame Sponsor, You Receive:

– Email confirmation with your unique reference number
– First photo updates within 1 week
– Regular photo updates approximately every 6 months or so, for 3 years
– All communications delivered digitally via email
– Dedications must be appropriate. We reserve the right to edit.
– Retain your emails & transaction records in case you need to contact us in the future.

Limitation of Liability

Reefscapers is not liable for coral mortality. Our responsibility is limited to reasonable conservation efforts and monitoring. Governing law: Republic of Maldives

Merchandise Purchases

– Reefscapers merchandise is available for in-person collection only. We do not ship physical items.
– When collecting your order, please present your email confirmation and unique reference number.
– Please inspect your items at the time of collection, as all merchandise sales are final. We are happy to assist with size exchanges in-person, provided items are unworn and in their original condition, subject to stock availability.

When You Use Our Online Order Form, We Collect:

– Your name (to personalise your sponsorship or process your order)
– Email address (for confirmations, photo updates, or order communications)
– Payment details (processed securely by Bank of Maldives)
– Order preferences

Your Payment is Secure:

– All transactions are processed through Bank of Maldives Connect payment system
– Your card information remains securely on the bank website
– Reefscapers does not have any visibility of payment card details
– Payment data is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols
– If a payment appears to fail or remain incomplete during checkout, we may reach out once via email to offer assistance.

Security & Fraud Prevention

To protect against fraudulent transactions, we collect your IP address when you submit a payment. This is used solely for:
– Preventing payment abuse or resolving disputes
– Technical troubleshooting, and rate limiting (blocking malicious requests)

We Share Your Information Only With:

– Bank of Maldives – for secure payment processing
– Our marine team – for fulfilling orders and sending photo updates
– We do not sell or share your information with anyone else.

Data Storage & Retention

– Your sponsorship and order details are stored securely for coral growth tracking and accounting purposes (typically 5 years)
– All data stored in compliance with international data protection standards

You Have the Right to:

– Request a copy of your personal data and correct any inaccurate information
– Unsubscribe from photo update emails (though we hope you’ll stay connected!)
– Request deletion of your data at any time

Our Website Uses Minimal Essential Cookies to:

– Maintain your session during checkout
– Prevent fraudulent transactions and ensure website security
– We do not use third-party tracking/advertising cookies.
